My No Worries Fritters

 

So are you having cravings for fritters? But you lack all the so call ingredients to make your fritters. Don't worry Because I have no worries fritters to satisfy your cravings. They are short and easy recipes not lacking good tastes. What you have to use is whatever you have got in your kitchen☺.

This is my favorite kind of fritter. In our home we all love fritters, nut many times would be lack of ingredients. So I started making with anything I thought would be fried easily. When I made my mother taste it, she asked what I used in it and I was like whatever I got. She didn't believed me until I showed her it my self. This happens to me most of the time and people think that I am not saying anything because I didn't want to share my recipes. So here finally I am writing how I always made those so that they can believe.😀😁

Everything I use in this recipe change according to the ingredients available in most cases.It is not necessary to use same thing as I do, you can use new items and do new experiments with your food and taste. So always try to create something new.

Ingredients

Coconut                         1/2 cup (grated/ desiccated)

Peanuts                          1/2 cup

All purpose flour           1 cup  

Rice flour                        1/4 cup

Sesame seeds                 1-2 tbsp       

Baking power               1/2 tsp

Salt                                To taste

Turmeric                       1/2 tsp

Chilly                      1 tsp (Chopped)

Black pepper               1/2 tsp (powder)

Herbs                           2 tbsp chopped (Mints, rosemary)

Beans                          1/2-1 cup  Soaked

Potatoes                      1 cups (finely chopped in julienne or batonnet)

Water                           To mix

Oil                              For frying


Mix coconut, peanuts,beans (here I have used soaked peas and baby corn), sesame seeds, potatoes, herbs, chilly, turmeric, salt, baking powder, All purpose flour, rice flour with water in a medium consistency not too thick and not runny. Make sure every ingredients are bind with each other properly.If you feel they are not bind then add some flour to it. Heat oil in high flame and then reduce it to medium and fry your fritters. With little bit of garnishing and a hot pickle or chutney they are ready to serve.

The main taste enhancer in this recipe is coconut so try not to replace it this recipe. I would prefer desiccated coconut but if you are lack of it you can use grated one too but if you have time you can soak coconut for few hours and grind them in mixture/grinder. this will do good than grated coconut. And as for beans you can use soaked beans such as peas, chickpeas or baby corn as the availability. Also the amount I used is as per my preference of taste such as, I make chutney hot and spicy so, my fritters lack spiciness. I want you to make as per your taste and tell me how it went.
