Have a peek on my 'so-called potato fritters.'😁




  

I must have earlier mention that I and my whole family loves fritters. Ok, who doesn't love fritter?😉.I love them. Infact I love fries a lot and that too as evening snack would be amazing. Yeah, I know they absorbs lots of oil and are not healthy food to have, to mention.
With age and considering health even my parents tries to avoid oily food. So to make every one consumable I made  these 'so called potatoes fritters'. Ofcourse they are deep fried but consumes less oil then other fries.



Ingredients
Boiled potatoes             3-4 medium siz
Peanuts                          1/3 cup, roasted
Bengal gram                   1 cups, soaked
Rosemary                       1-2 tbsp, chopped
Chilly                               1 finely chopped
Turmeric                         1 tsp
lemon juice                    1-2 tbsp
Cumin powder               1 tbsp

Method
In a bowl roughly mash the boiled potatoes add roasted peanuts, chopped rosemary, green chillies, lemon juice, cumin seeds and mix them well. Grind the soaked bengal gram in a smooth fine paste in thick consistency. Add turmeric powder, salt, chilliflakes and water if necessary and make smooth fluffy paste. Now make small patties of the potatoes mixture and coat them in the paste. Then deep fry them in a highly heated oil in medium flame and serve them with your fvourite sauce.

I love to have them with tomato pickle. For which I have boiled 3-4 medium sized tomatoes. And grind them with roasted peanutes, herbs (mint, rosemary or of yoir choice), 1 tbsp cumin seeds, dash of aesofotidas, salt to taste, chillies, pinch of black pepper in to fine paste.And serve them with potato fritters.
